ECO EMS HAS MOVED TO WALES: NEW BEGINNINGS!
If you’ve been following Eco Ems for a while, you’ll know that sustainability and slow living are at the heart of everything I do. And after a busy few months away, I’m finally back – with muddy boots and a brand-new chapter to share.
We’ve moved to Wales!
That’s right – after years of dreaming about living closer to nature, growing our food, and spending more time outdoors, we packed up our lives in Leicester and headed west to start a new adventure in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
The opportunity came when I was offered a new role in my day job – something that aligned with our goals for a more grounded and connected lifestyle. It was the kind of chance you just can’t say no to. So, we did it – we took the leap, swapped city streets for winding country lanes, and set our sights on building a life we don’t need a holiday from.
Living Closer to Nature
Anyone who knows us knows how much we love growing our own vegetables, walking in nature, and living in a way that’s kind to the planet. The countryside is now right on our doorstep – birdsong, green fields, and space to slow down.
Taking a few months to settle in and soak up the peace and quiet has been just what I needed. It gave me the time to breathe, reflect and, most importantly, reignite my passion for Eco Ems.
I’ve missed creating. I’ve missed sharing. And I’ve missed connecting with you all.
The Heart of Eco Ems
Eco Ems began from a love of the environment – and a desire to help others make zero-waste swaps that are simple and accessible.
It all started in my own bathroom. Swapping out plastic bottles for solid shampoo bars, natural handmade soap, and plant-based lotion bars. Small, mindful changes that from our house alone save hundreds of plastic bottles from landfill every year.
Every swap is a step toward a more sustainable world – from our home-compostable wax paper wrapping, to UK-sourced ingredients, to our plastic-free packaging.
Whether it’s a bar of soap or a full skincare gift set, each one is lovingly handmade with you and our planet in mind.
A Fresh Start – And Fresh Summer Scents!
Since getting back into the swing of things, I’ve been soaking up the sunshine and working on something new.
Inspired by the lovely warm weather we’ve had over the last few weeks, I’ve restocked the website with a small batch of your favourites, packed with essential oils that energise and uplift.
Think zesty orange, fresh lemon, and hints of lime – everything you love about summer, captured in a bar of soap. Keep an eye on the Eco Ems website because they’ll be sure to sell out!
What’s Coming Next? Soap Subscriptions & More
One of the biggest changes now that we’ve moved is that I won’t be attending as many local Leicestershire markets. But don’t worry – that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on your favourites!
Behind the scenes, I’m working on a brand-new soap subscription service – so you’ll be able to have your favourite handmade, plastic-free soaps delivered straight to your door, without lifting a finger.
